1 - An iPad
It goes without saying, an iPad opens up doorways that were never quite possible with a clumsy laptop. There is something freeing about throwing your iPad into your handbag and heading off to your favourite cafe without having to lug around your heavy laptop.
Don't have an iPad yet? Opt for one with enough memory to store the type of content you think you'll be storing on your iPad. Bigger is better I think. There is nothing more annoying than running out of space! Go for a 32GB or 64GB to be safe!
2 - A full sized bluetooth keyboard
If you're a touch typist like me, you probably find the touchscreen keyboard a little frustrating for typing large chunks of content. Now, yes you can get iPad cases with an inbuilt keyboard, however I found that these keyboards were just as frustrating as they are smaller than your standard keyboard.
My recommendation? Get a full sized bluetooth keyboard! You'll be absolutely amazed at the difference it makes to the way you use your iPad. It makes your iPad feel like you're using a laptop, with the exception of using the touchscreen instead of a mouse, and the fact that it is so much lighter to carry around.
Do yourself the favour and get one ASAP!

3 - Keyboard Case
It's one thing having full size keyboard, but another thing transporting it. Luckily for us girls, we can just throw our iPad and keyboard in to our handbag.
